Student Leadership Development
We strive to empower learners to go beyond technical skills and become confident communicators and collaborators. Students build leadership by managing projects, directing creative ideas, giving and receiving constructive feedback, and taking ownership of their ideas from concept to execution. These experiences strengthen decision-making, accountability, and professional communication, skills that translate directly to college, careers, and real-world leadership roles.

Portfolio-Based Learning
Portfolio-based learning in a content creation class helps elementary and middle school students feel proud of their work while building important skills. Students collect their best projects in one place, so they can see how much they improve over time. This makes learning more fun and meaningful, builds confidence, and encourages creativity as students share their ideas, stories, and designs with others.

Promote a Positive School Environment
An engaging opportunity like a broadcast club gives students an exciting reason to come to school and feel connected. When students are involved in creating school news, videos, or announcements, they feel valued and included, which can improve attendance. Broadcast clubs also promote a positive school environment by encouraging teamwork, creativity, and school pride while giving students a voice to celebrate achievements and share important moments with the school community.

Youth Broadcast Network
The Youth Broadcast Network (YBN) is a PBIS-aligned, student-centered media program that uses storytelling, broadcasting, music, and podcast-style communication to promote positive behavior, student voice, and school connectedness. Through a safe, structured, and age-appropriate environment, students develop into effective communicators and role models within their school community.
